Original Free Walking Tour

In Summer 2024 we are running a single combined general tour daily at 11am which includes the castle.

Running every day since 2010, our Original Bratislava Free Walking Tour is a 2.5hrs walking tour in English of the Old & New Town Highlights. Entertaining & informative Bratislava sightseeing tour with our energetic local guides who introduce Slovakia’s culture, traditions, current events, history & future in a modern-day context.

On this tour we explore the major sights of the as well as the its hidden gems such as the Blue Church & the scene of the 1968 Soviet Occupation. We’ll show you the highlights of the historic Old Town but with a contemporary focus. So we’ll be talking about traditions, language, food, people, politics, alternative city, development & local quirks of the city and a bit of history. We’ll also try to give you a sense of modern life in the city & the direction our country is going.

We meet on Hviezdoslavovo námestie by the Statue of Hviezdoslav. It is right next to the Carlton hotel and the U.S. Embassy. Look for our guides with a Green name-tag.
